Trend Report: All About The Lace

The Holidays are officially in full swing! A season of giving, traveling, party going and beyond. Here at Mint we are focused on one style that tends to always come back around and make an even bigger statement each time. We're talking about all things LACE! That sexy, chic and mysterious trend that can be styled in so many versatile ways. This "lingerie dressing" movement has been seen throughout the evolution of fashion for years and it is one style trend that we are sure will never disappear. This season we are diving head first into the lace pieces by Veronica M, Amanda Uprichard, BB Dakota, Red Haute + more. Lace paired with other lush materials and rich colors are everything we are looking for in a holiday look this season. From blouses to maxis to minis to basic pullovers - you can't go wrong with adding a touch of luxurious lace into the mix!

 

First up are these fun dressy tank blouses by Red Haute. The lace overlay gives these sleeveless tanks a touch of sophisticated dressiness. The ruffle edges at the neck and sleeve add a bit of femininity and sweetness. Whether attending a friends holiday soiree, date night with your special someone or a fancy cocktail party these tops can be styled in a number of ways to cater to that specific occasion. Pairing with a skinny pant and simple black boot as shown above is a perfect causal date night look. The crew neck and tight cuff on each sleeves give this a classic pullover look. The chicest addition to this top is the intricate lace detailed sides which adds a bit of dressiness and femininity to a causal a basic piece. Pair this trendy number with a pair of black skinnies as shown above for a edgy look with a dash of feminine touch. Pair with high waisted wide leg dress pants for a stylish work look or for a more causal vibe pair with distressed skinny blue jeans and a suede booties. The styling possibilities go beyond! On the dressier side - here are two of our favorites for the more elegant holiday occasions. A black lace dress is always acceptable at a fancy cocktail party, whether you are a mini or a maxi type of gal, these dresses won't disappoint and will be sure to make a statement. First we have the Amanda Uprichard intricate lace mini dress in a rich plush velvet. This is THE holiday look! The lace v neckline and the fitted bodice is both flattering and sexy. The dress is lined with a rich colored silky fabric underneath which adds a touch of rich color making the dress even more elegant.
