This season we are truly seeing a multitude of exciting denim trends for everyone. Distressed jeans are everywhere and are here to stay for awhile. We also still love boyfriend jeans as well as skinny jeans which we wear more than anything. Spring 2016 denim is also filled with high waisted styles, the culotte and lots of 70's inspired flared jeans in many different washes. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

High Waisted Denim

We love high waisted denim right now. Some of our must haves are the Maria from J Brand and the Rocket from Citizens of Humanity. Both of these iconic and now classic styles are extremely flattering and really show off your waist. We think every girl needs atleast one of these jeans in their wardrobe- At Mint we are constantly getting in new washes in both of these as well as black and white. High waisted denim is also perfect back to  cropped sweaters and tops. 

 

 Flares:

Flares We love high waited denim are back and have come to grab the attention of it-girls, fashion editors, and fashion lovers. Finally, the 70’s denim is back with all its strength and everyone loves it. These designer denim jeans fashion trends have already entered the local streets soon after hitting runways. Recently denim brands such as 7 for all Mankind, Blank NYC, J Brand and Citizens of Humanity and others have all added amazing flared silhouettes to their collections. 

Flares are one of our favorite styles on everyone. They are universally flattering especially kept very long and worn with a sky high heel or wedge to create legs for days. 

Denim Culottes & Gaucho Jeans
The Culottes or Gaucho pants trend is being seen everywhere right now. Denim Brands are releasing their own takes on this trend, seen here from 7 For All Mankind. The Culotte With Released Hem in Brilliant Broken Twill is one of our favorites. 70's has been a major inspiration on the runway the last few seasons and the culotte is the perfect translation of this trend into denim.
